Tip-ex is back and promises, once again, to be the showcase for all the very best new products and services designed especially for operators in the tipping, waste and bulk transport industries.
It is a sign of the strength of the Show, and of the resilience of the tipper industry, that virtually all the major suppliers have shown their commitment to their annual showcase event, despite suffering the worst recession in living memory.
The transport industry in general, and the tipper sector in particular, are very close knit and Tip-ex provides a much needed focal point for tipper and bulk transport operators to meet with manufacturers and suppliers as well as with each other.
Following an almost "show-free" 2D09, Tip-ex exhibitors are ready, willing and able to demonstrate to visitors just how things have moved on over the last two years with a host of new products and services on display.
From walking floors and ejectors through to sliding bogie tippers, wheels and tyres to onboard weighing, there is plenty to see and the relaxed, friendly atmosphere of the show makes doing business a pleasure.
All the big names in the tipping body and trailer industry are represented alongside a plethora of ancillary equipment makers and service providers, each of which has something on offer which will help to make your business more efficient and more importantly profitable.
With the first green shoots of recovery poking their heads above the ground, now is the time to take a look at what's new in the tipping industry. Use the show to keep abreast of latest trends and make sure you are ready for an upturn in business. And Tip-ex is the only show where you'll find everything you need for your operation all in one place it's the UK's only dedicated tipper exhibition.
Tip-ex will have a new dimension this year too, as Harrogate Council has agreed to close roads opposite the exhibition halls to showcase external vehicle displays.
Best of all entrance to the show is completely free for visitors.
Harrogate itself, in the heart of "tipper country'', boasts a wealth of excellent bars, restaurants, hotels and B&Bs, providing the perfect backdrop in which to relax and meet up with old friends.
