WINCANTON IS to abandon its West Country headquarters in the town from which it takes its name and move into newly built offices in Chippenham. The company's communications director, Charles Carr, said head office staff are spread across four locations: Wincanton, Trowbridge, Yate near Bristol, and
Chippenham. "We have started to construct a new building that will bring everyone together. The first people will move into it in March next year," he said.
Wincanton's logistics and milk transport businesses will continue to be based at Wincanton. The old headquarters buildings will be sold once the move is complete.
