Truckfest we had. At the truck section the vehicles were so clean it was almost impossible to accept that they actually work on the roads! At the Super Trucks it was great to see Jan from our Lady Truckers Club showing her Peterbilt What a thrill it was when she came first in the Super Truck section. Well done Jan, it's good to know the girls can get it right in spite of all the hassle we get from a lot of men.
One thing lacking was a good restaurant for a decent meal; maybe this can be rectified at next year's do?
The evening entertainments were superb with everyone having a great time, The booze was flowing freely and, despite a few sore heads, no one caused any trouble.
Perhaps when planning next year's festival you might spare a thought for the ladies though? The guys get the dancing girls—maybe we can have the Chippendales? Danneke Neale Dawne Freight, Eastfield, Scarborough.
