ADVANCES in resin technology and experi ence in the fabrication and operation of reinforced polyester tanks have enabled Whessoe Ltd. to offer multi-cargo vessels for a wider range of materials than hitherto. They are now available for the carriage of petroleum spirits, sodium hypochloride and other materials not previously listed.
Whessoe glass-fibre tanks have been in operation for more than four years carrying products ranging from foodstuffs to hot concentrated hydrochloric acid and the company reports that some are operating successfully in arduous conditions in the Omani Desert.
