SEVENTEEN Commuter stand-drive dairy trucks have been ordered from Smith's Delivery Vehicles, Ltd., Gateshead-on-Tyne, by two Canadian dairymen. They are Mr. D. Mason, of St. Catherine's, Ontatio, and Mr. R. Slocombe, of Rockcliffc Dairy, Toronto. Both visited the Gateshead factory. Mr. Slocombe has operated Smith's N.C.B. electric vehicles for two years.

The trucks will have B.T.H. electrical equipment, Exide Ironclad batteries and Westinghouse chargers. The bodies will be insulated after arrival in Canada. Overnight cooling will be -provided by a special cold-blow plant developed by Mr. Mason.
