A MOBILE shop specially designed rt for use in the greengrocery trade has been produced by Smith's Delivery Vehicles, Ltd., Team Valley, Gateshead, 11. Based on a Karrier Bantam chassis, the body is arranged for inside service and all interior fittings are easily removable for cleaning. Wire baskets and wooden trays are secured by patented Bollorack devices.
On each side of the serving counter is a potato container loaded from the outside through a hopper. There are, special racks for bottled products, also a glass display cabinet, Avery scales and a weight rack. . Water-supply and washing facilities .are incorporated as standard.
COACH TOURS TO AIRPORT
ON Monday London Transport started special roach trips from Victoria to London airport. This. service will run throughout the summer, arid passengers will be taken around the hangars and other installations. Guides on the coaches will give commentaries.
