Our anticipations of a good reception for an experimental " Horseless Sunday " have been fulfilled: not a few of the London daily and evening papers have given considerable news space to the matter, whilst several have occupied a large share of the editorial columns. In the " Evening Standard " of the 13th instant, for example, in the course of a leading article, we read " We prophesy that, if this scheme can be carried through, the results will be highly favourable to motor traffic, and will consequently serve as a severe criticism of the horse." Another proof of the widespread interest aroused is provided by the fact that the topic has been chosen to be voted upon at the Woman's Suffrage Bazaar, at Prince's Skating Rink, Knightsbridge, on or before the 26th instant, in company with twelve other contentious and non-contentious subjects, one of which gives interest to a. daily " poll." It is now Mr. Thomson Lynn's intention to take early steps to arrange for the convening of a public meeting.
