BY the end of 1967 all signs on Britain's most important roads will be in line with the recommendations of the Worboys Committee.
On behalf of the Government, Earl Ferrers told the House of Lords that the new regulations, to be introduced around September, would provide for the conversion of all mandatory and prohibitive signs within two years.
All other signs on the most important roads would be, changed within three years of the coming into force of the regulations.
