Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ROAD problems are again likely to create much attention when the Royal Commission on local government in the Tyneside areas resumes its sittings at Newcastle-on-Tyne, from March 31 to April 3. The outstanding feature of the investigations so far has been the suggested Tyneside transport

board. Whilst the city representatives strongly advocate a board on the lines of London Transport (and in this they are supported by Wallsend), other areas are definitely opposed to any kind of unification.

Without a doubt, however, the Tyne tunnel scheme to link up the Northumberland and Durham coast areas will loom large in the evidence.
