Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• TV-watching drivers can now have their truck's registration plate as their address, at least on their TV licences, according to the Post Office.

Buckingham-based owner-driver Nick Scardifield has become the first square-eyed trucker to have his registration plate as the first line of his TV licence address.

Scardifield, who runs on general haulage all over the country, says he watches it to relax in some of the more remote parts of the country he visits.

Increasingly TV Licensing officials are joining multiagency roadside checks to make sure drivers catching up on Coronation Street are doing so legally.

Many drivers with a home licence think it also covers the in-cab TV. Not so, says the Licensing Agency. Unless the home set is not used while the driver is away from home, a second is required.
