Windy city
• The American Trucking Association is organising a study tour in conjunction with its annual management conference and exhibition which is being held at the Chicago Hilton and Towers in Chicago, Illinois on 28 October-1 November. Programme highlights will include meeting more than 2,000 US truck executives; and a visit to a Chicago Bulls basketball game. The tour costs £2,000 with discounts for groups of three or more.

Moving ahead
• Next year's Expomovil international motor trade exhibition will be held from 12-15 April at the Fira de Barcelon trade centre in Spain. On show will be garage equipment, workshop tools, tyres, alarms and lubricants.
