A preview of automotive ga turbine electronic control syt tems being developed by CAV given in a brochure (Publicatio No 1700). The brochur describes a complete electronl control system for 'automotiv gas turbine engines current under development by a numb( of leading engine and vehicl manufacturers. The system ca be considered in three part namely fuel pumps an regulation, nozzle guide van positioning and the electron control unit.
Different concepts of ful control and nozzle guide var control are proposed as a mear of satisfying a wide variety engine types and manufactun preferences. The inherent flex bility of the electronic contr unit enables it to satisfy multitude of specifications.
All the control syste components described are progressive stages of develoi ment and manufacture.
