ade by: Enots Ltd, PO Box 22, stern Avenue, Lichfield, Staffs S13 6SB. A one-man-operated recovery crane which can be mounted on a Land-Rover or similar vehicle has been introduced by Tangye Epco. The unit comprises two mounting rails which are fitted to the vehicle platform and two "A" frames rising from each end of the frame to meet at the crane head. The remote control winch operates from the vehicle battery and safe working load is 0.8 ton. Cable speed is 3ft per min loaded. For heavy loads the boom is lowered to the floor to enable right-angle winching.

The crane can be dismantled in a matter of minutes releasing the vehicle for other duties and is supplied with a flexible type sling, hooks and tail chains. The suspended apron reduces the risk of damaging the towed vehicle.

For heavier chassis the Wrecker can be fitted with a snatch block which increases SWL to 1.4 tons.
