AT the first meeting of the new council of the National Road Transport Federation following the annual general meeting on Wednesday, Mr. K. C. Turner, who is president of the Traders Road Transport Association, was appointed N.R.T.F. chairman. He succeeds Mr. D. 0. Good, who is the recently elected chairman of the Road Haulage Association. Mr. Good becomes a vice-chairman of the N.R.T.F., together with Mr. F. J. Speight of the Passenger Vehicle Operators' Association.
