Although it might he thought that interest in the agricultural shows would begin to wane after the passing of the Royal each year, yet, according to reports, one finds that actually interest in the current county _and district events is still well maintained.

The Sussex County Show opened at Chichester on Wednesday of last week. All branches were well represented. There was a good display of tractors and accessories on a number Of stands.

Immediately facing the entrance was an Overtime model N, exhibited by 'Messrs. Lintott, of Horsham, with a useful looking wide-breadth spike tooth tractor harrow, a tractor roll and land press, and a Massey-Harris tractor plough.

There was an International tractor and a Martin self-lift cultivator, MasseyHarris, and Ruston and Hornsby tractor ploughs, and disc cultivators on the

c10 stand of Messrs. Harper and Stedman:

James Penfold, Ltd., Arundel, had on this stand a Saunderson model G, driving a thresher, in Austin, and a Fiat tractor, together with the usual collection of implements, including Oliver No. 11 plough, and International disc cultivators.

The Moline Universal motor plough; Hornsby, Wood, Martin, and Ransonses machines occupied the stand of C. -G.

Prewett, Ltd., Horsham. • I do not propose tiring readers with a detailed list of all the numerous and useful tractor implements which were to he seen at this show. In addition to the above-mentioned firms, Carter Eros., Billingshurst, J. S. and G. Canning, Finehdean ; Holloway, Shoreham, and Halsted and Sons, Ltd., are deserving of praise for the creditable collections which they displayed. Messrs. Carter Bros. had the G.O. tractor, and Messrs. Holloway the Titan, and there was a fine show of three Overtimes on Messrs. Halsted's stand. The Austin Co. displayed their tractors on a very attractive stand. The British Wallis tractor was demonstrated by the Petworth Motor Co. Wallis and Steevens, Ltd., of Basingstoke, exhibited, and the "Little Giant" steamer, with a 5 ton trailer, was shown by Tasker and Sons, Ltd. A Vulcan petrol lorry was on view. Martina and Ransom-es cultivators for tractors, and Cockshutt ploughs were much in evidence, and a traetor roller and wide cut Albion binder made by Messrs. , Harrison and McGregor, of Leigh, a tractor land roller, and MasseyHarris extra strong binders attracted considerable attention.
