Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I NOTICED ON Roadtransport. corn that there could be changes to HGV drivers' medical standards, especially for those with diabetes, epilepsy and poor vision.

I wonder if this may be tightening the medical standards to bring diabetic drivers level in risk to road and public safety as epileptic standards, as the number of people developing diabetes continues to increase?

Diabetes UK is campaigning to get the HGV medical standards lowered to allow people with diabetes to train and drive HGV lorries up to class C2.

I fear that they might find the changes will mean they will no longer be able to drive HGVs. Paul Hendley
