Cutting Joints—Klingerit and Others

TECHNICAL publications dealing 1 with manufacturers' products and into which an element of humour has been introduced seem to be rather fashionable at present. " The Art of Cutting Joints " is the name of a booklet just issued by Richard Klinger, Ltd., Klingerit Works, Sidcup, Kent, and the direction in which the humour runs may easily be imagined. There are also comic sketches emphasizing the inefficiency of rough and ready methods of cutting jointing.

This company, however, has struck an original note and dealt with two of the possible meanings of the title. The first two pages are devoted to instructions on the correct way of cutting joints of meat.

In the remainder of the booklet the service offered by the company for cutting Klinger jointing material to customer's requirements, and for supplying joints at prices actually lower than the equivalent cost of sheeting, is

outlined. Copies will be sent to all readers who care to apply. A22
