Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A MINI-BOOM is taking place in the vehicle bodybuilding business, according to E. M. Wilcox Ltd, of Peterborough.

Wilcox has just taken on extra staff to cope with a production increase of 15 to 20 per cent. And quotes for bodies worth £250,000 were requested by potential customers during January —a record for a single month.

Mr Derek Hill, managing director, said: "The road transport Industry was hard hit by the economic situation in 1974 and 1975 and hundreds of vehicles were laid up.

"Our bodies are at the top end of the market and the increase of investment in this sort of equipment could well be a sign of an upturn in the economy."

Wilcox is making eight bodies for the annual tipper show at Harrogate in three months' time and these have already been sold.
