Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN inexpensive bench saw, suited to the needs of light industry, has recently been introduced by Wm. Dibben and Sons, Ltd., 76, St. Mary's

Road, Southampton Known as the Steadfast, it is manufactured in the following three types:-7-in., with tilting table; 10-in., of similar pattern; and 10-in., with fixed table.

In all models the table is of cast aluminium adequately strengthened and ribbed, and fitted for extensions. Bearings' are or the hall type, mounted on a sturdy shaft, with bronze thrust washers, dust sealingand Tecalemit lubrication.

Saw guards are fitted both above and below the saw tab'e. Working faces are accurately machined an there is provision for adiustmeat of the belt. The base is in machined cast aluminium.

Purposes for whicli these saws are suitable ar: cutting mitreing, bevelling, grooving, dadomg and Sanding. Use of an abrasive wheel will make possible the cutting of sheet metal. It will thus

be noted that this compact little machine will perform, quite a large number of useful functions.
