• Due to a dangerous manufacturing defect, owners of Woosung tyres are being urged to get them checked as soon as possible as they could fail without warning at any time. The tyres, ironically called Darkhorse, are the 185/65HR x 14 DH65, 185/65HR x 15 DH65, and 205/60HR x 15 H60. All have been imported and distributed since March 1998. The production date codes run from 016 to 206. No other sizes or production date codes are known to be affected.
It is understood the tyres originated from Oak Tyres of St Helens or from Brightonbased Tyre Co.
