The C.M.U.A, has now announced the names of the persons who wilt open the discussions on the four papers to be read at the fourth National Road Transport Conference, at -Porthcawl, from September 18-22.
Mr. H. Backhouse, Ju.nr., will lead .the discussion on the • paper entitled " Current Legislation. as It Affects Cornmercial Motor Users," to be submitted by Mr. D. 1. Sandelson, GEE., M.A. ..The discussion on "Some Aspectgi, of Road Safety front the Official Point of View " (the paper to be read by Major C. G. Godfrey, O.B.E.) will be opened by Lt.-Col. J. A. A. Pickard, D.S.O.
Capt. J. B. Walton's paper, " The Comparative Advantages of Electric, Petrol and Diesel Oil Engine Road Vehicles," will be dissected by Mr. C. le M. Gosselin, M.I.A.E., M.Inst.T., among other speakers:Mr. E. V. Ralph will open the debate on Mr.
Raymond Birch's paper: "Some Problems of the Z.S.V. Operator."
