Mercedes-Benz CharterWay is to compete in a congested sector by offering a three-year deal on the Actros 2546L5 Long Distance.
The Mercedes-I3enz Actros 2546LS Long Distance tractor is the latest product to be offered with an attractive finance package. Several manufacturers and dealers (CM 6 April) are battling it out in a congested 6x2 400hp-plus used market sector with two-year and three-year deals.
The latest combatant to enter the fray is Mercedes-Benz CharterWay,the international commercial vehicle financial services, contact hire and fleet management arm of DaimlerChrysler.
Managing director Steve Durrant believes the deal represents value for money. "It will be a pleasant surprise for those. looking for a remarkable vehicle at a manageable monthly rate.
"Customers will enjoy showing off the Actros 2546LS long Distance when they take advantage of this affordable rate without having to compromise. on the superior standards of quality safety and reliability that all Mercedes-Benz products are renowned for," he says.
Contract hire
The Actros 2546LS Long Distance is available for £299 per week over a three-year contract hire agreement with full repair and maintenance, 24-hour road assistance, a sliding fifth wheel, air management kit and road-fund licence.
