ADMINISTRATORS OF debtridden operator Celsius First are to close the firm's King's Lynn depot and Hoddesdon head office with the loss of 160 jobs after failing to find any buyers.

Yearsley Group has already bought three sites (CM 30 March): the remaining depots at: King's Lynn,Norfolk; Bristol; Stratford, North London; and Hoddesdon, Herts were subsequently put up for sale.

A spokeswoman for administrators PriccwaterhouseCoopers says: "While interest is being expressed in Bristol and Stratford is is not the case for King's Lynn and Hoddesdon," Celsius's rival chilled operator. Innovate Logistimis rumoured to be buying the Bristol site.
