BAR Cargolift On display at the CV Show will be the FreeAccess VanLift from BAR. It enables secure loading of pallets and trolleys on vans, and when not in use it folds to store, keeping the cargo area available for access. Hydraulically opened and manually unfolded, it has a load capacity of 750kg.
GRP Westbury A selection of vehicles will be on display demonstrating the company's bodybuilding skills, including an fveco 75E17 7.5-tonne cab with a specially designed refrigerated GRP body built to freezer specification. A Renault Midlum 7.5tanner chassis cab in the colours of airport ground-handling company Swissport features a two-pallet ULD carrier body built at the GRP factory in Westbury. Truckfile Launching at the CV Show, Truckfile is a PC and internet-based system that holds all 'duty of care' statutory data in one secure vault. It stores all vital documents electronically and schedules future maintenance with automatic reminders controlled by the operator or repairer.
Thermo King Thermo King's web-based tracking and temperature monitoring system, Trac King, will be making its debut. Powered by GPRS technology, it enables fleet managers to monitor their refrigerated fleets in real time from their desktops and have access to large volumes of temperature and vehicle data on the move. It also gives the current temperature at regular time intervals and can download history from the data ioggers Aluvan The company will be displaying its new curtainsider body for light commercial vehicles. Specially designed for small trucks, delivery vans and lightweight trailers, the FlexoVan comes as a complete kit. Its all-aluminium design makes it low in weight, maximising the payload, and it can be equipped with a sliding roof.
