Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BRICK AND BLOCK hauliers have helped develop a code of practice on the safe loading. consignment and offloading of concrete blocks.

The code was put together by a working group of hauliers, manufacturers and Health and Safety Executive representatives. Adoption of the code is voluntary, stresses the Concrete Block Association (CBA). It will license member companies to use a `CBA — committed to delivering safely' logo to promote the code.

Concrete block manufacturer Celcon uses a number of block hauliers around the country and employs Wayne Davis to drive the company's only vehicle.

"Celcon already has a safe loading practice, which contains guidelines on transport," says Davis."But I welcome this code as think it will help improve safety at every company that uses it," says Davis.

Copies of the safe loading code for concrete blocks can be obtained from www.eba-blocks.org.uk.
