mg.. c. R. BEDDINGTON'S submission that "Objectors at these inquiries have no right, either under the statute or other regulations, to de Ma ad the production of documents" was not challenged by either the Metropolitan Deputy Commissioner, Mr. C. J. Macdonald, or the many counsel and solicitors engaged in the recent two-day tour application by Orange Luxury Coaches.
After counsel for one of the objectors had stated that she had issued the applicants with a notice to produce certain figures, Mr. Beddington, who appeared for Orange Luxury, made his submission.
He went on to say that objectors may indicate that certain documents may help the Commissioner; but they had no right to raise notices for the production of documents. This could only he done in "other courts."
