• The Partco Group acquired Woodhead RSR early in August for a reported sum of £2.4m. Partco, which specialises in the distribution of parts for cars and light commercials now has a part in the LGV and PCV market with the addition of Woodhead's activities in replacement components.
And this month Partco has a special offer on a new range of budget-priced hand tools. Claimed to be suitable for mechanics, semi-professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike, this range comprises 17 tools including sets of files, tin snips, pliers and sockets as well as screwdrivers, torque wrenches and tool boxes.
Partco believes that there is a tremendous demand from garage mechanics for a budget range of hand tools which gives them the quality they need but at a competitive price.
