Staff at a Texaco garage sold diesel to the thieves who stole Executive Removals' Mercedes Benz 814 removal van on 11 August. They remember the van coming in early in the morning, but the garage's security

camera was broken so there is no recording of the thieves' faces.They took the white, unsigned van, reg B947 LAP, from Executive's locked compound in Raymead Road after cutting through the padlock on the six-foot high gates. They also broke the steering wheel lock and will have had to dispose of the 150 or so blankets and boxes which were stored in the vehicle.

The van has a Rohills body with a drop well. The chassis number is 67401325167218 and the engine number is 36690520011902.
