Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DOPLICE interrogate a driver. A number L and symbol painted on the roof are clearly visible from the air and a "stolen" vehicle has been recovered.

This will be the pattern when proposals for putting this idea into effect have been worked out jointly by the RHA vehicle security committee and Scotland Yard.

First vehicle to be treated in this way (left) belongs to Atlas Express. Chairman of the vehicle security committee Mr. J. T. Brown is an Atlas director. Experiments with a police helicopter have shown that there is no difficulty in picking the vehicle out when it is on the move or stationary.

The aim is that eventually all vehicles with loads likely to tempt criminals should have a painted symbol as a matter of course.
