Ford is offering the standard PDV with either the two-litre Transit petrol engine, or the 2.5-litre direct-injection diesel, priced at £11,637 and £12,987.
Dormobile, however, says that it is capable of producing a wide variety of options on the PDV Transit including roof vents, roller shutters and a side loading door.
To handle the extra high PDV body, the 190's suspension has been modified with the inclusion of a rear anti-roll bar and heavy duty shock absorbers.
A number of light CV bodybuilders, including Robin Hood and Bedwas currently produce parcel vans based on the Transit but Dormobile claims that only its conversion will be supplied as an SVO through Ford dealers.
