Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

STRIKING car delivery drivers have reached deadlock in their dispute over the sacking of 17 drivers from Silcock and Collings at Coventry.

. The dispute arose when the men were sacked following the loss of a contract to deliver vehicles and a subsequent falling off in the work load. The men want their workmates re-instated.

' But this week meetings between the company and the Transport and General Workers' Union had failed to find a solution to the dispute.

Coventry Association of Vehicle Delivery Agents' chairman Mr David Barrow told CM they were trying to find a solution and would be having meetings with both sides in an effort to ease the tension.

In the meantime cars are piling up at the Coventry factories of many of the major producers of cars.
