The Portavac 175 is the name of a twin-motor vacuum cleaner having a capacity of 1.6 cu ft that is marketed by Airnesco Product Sales Ltd. It is claimed that the cleaner is suitable for removing filings, swarf and dust from floors and machines and that it is particularly useful for the continuous removal of dirt and fumes from automatic machines such as jig-boxes, grinders, saws and automatic welding equipment.
The twin motors each have a rating of over 1 hp and provide for a water lift of 80in. with sealed orifice and an output of 175 cu ft/min with a 2in. orifice. It weighs 361b.
