• A pneumatic discharge delivery trailer, designed to carry grain and animal feedstuffs, features oneof the new Titan aluminium bulk tipping bodies now being built by Tamplin Engineering Ltd, Birdham, Chichester, Sussex.

Of high-duty, all-welded monocoque construction, the unit has an overall length of 2ft, a width of 8ft and an inside height of , 6ft, giving it a capacity of 1450 cu ft.

1 ' Completely enclosed, it has three divisions and four 5-ton compartments. The aluminium alloy hatches are side-hinged and there is a full length top walk-way. The body is mounted on a York widespread, tandem-axle semi-trailer dtted with Edbro 8ET twin-ram front-end tipping gear. The tracti, -nit is an AEC Mandator, LI DiscO' is by a standard Tamplin rotary talve ai foss feed auger,driven by variableapeed 1 j draulic motors. Alternative air supely systems are available, either as selfcontained diesel or petrol units or with a tractor-mounted blower driven from the gearbox pto.

Payload is in the 18/20 ton range,depending on type of blower installation fitted.

These Titan bodies can also be supplied as open-top units with normal hoop sticks, PVC sheet and grain tailboard.
