RE YOUR article (CM 25 October), as a small local business and creditors of D Mortimer & Sons we were shocked to read that they were up and running again earlier this year when we (like many other businesses) are still owed several thousand pounds.
D Mortimer was a customer for several decades and the credit facility was allowed in good faith.
It was charging goods to its account the day before it went into a restructuring process.
The amount of communication from D Mortimer and Monahans (the firm handling its PVA) has been sparse. You can imagine our feelings on reading your article.
