'ROBABLYTHE least expected exhibit at RAI was the Maxus MX I.00 oncept. Previously seen at September's Moscow Motor Show, the t-nsterdam version of the up-to-7.5-tonne chassis-cab featured a Maxus ab interior and frontal styling on the Gaz Valday chassis It's currently tted with a Russian engine but LDV confirmed that a more local engine rould be fitted to Western European production versions; it expressed atisfaction with the current Maxus engine supplier, VM. LDV's new hassis-cab range was much in evidence, although for most markets utside the UK, LDV will be branded Maxus by Gaz.
