• Stara Carbon less Paper has awarded a national distribution contract to TDG Williams worth about £250,000 in the first year.
• Vauxhall Motors has renewed its distribution deal with WaIon for three years. WaIon transports cars from Vauxhall's plants at Luton and Ellesmere Port, as well as from the major UK import centre at Purfleet.
• Swift Service, the industrial division of Salvesen Logistics, is to handle the UK distribution for industrial packaging manufacturer Polycon • Securicor Omega Logistics has a three-year contract worth El 2m with building products manufacturer Owens Corning. SOL will be responsible for delivery from manufacturing plants using a new fleet. The work was previously handled by several hauliers.

• TDG Vehicle Rental has won a £125,000 contracthire agreement with and Galloway Community Health Trust, It involves two 7.5-tonne Leyland Oaf chassis and six demount bodies.
• Ascia has renewed the contract for its Wigan distribution centre with Winconton Logistics.
