Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The first of a fleet of 20 new luxury coaches for Southdown Motor Services Ltd was handed over to the company on April 16. Coachwork is of the Duple Commander IV design, with the addition of sliding windows to allow maximum ventilation, particularly when the vehicle is stationary, and is mounted on the Leyland Leopard PSU 3A/4R coach chassis.

Although of 36ft. 100n. overall length the coaches seat only 32 passengers, in fully adjustable seats, and follow the familiar two and one cohfiguration regularly employed on Southdown touring coaches. An innovation, however, is the use of the single seats on the nearside for the first six rows, then switching to the offside for the last five rows. (Corresponding double seats are five rows offside followed by four rows nearside and three seats across the back of the saloon.) Other features include individual adjustable ventilation employing the Smith's Jet Vent system, four three-way lift-up roof lights, pull-down window blinds which stop direct dazzle without reducing visibility, and a public address system.

The chassis are fitted with the Leyland 680 horizontal diesel engine, five-speed semiautomatic transmission, air suspension and dual-line air brakes, the latter fitted in conjunction with SAB automatic brake adjusters.
