The Royal Automobile Club Continental Handbook and Guide to Western Europe has long since widened its value well beyond the private tourist field, It is a valuable handbook for coach tour operators arid drivers, and

is now used also by international haulage operators, both for planing and for on-the-road advice.

The 1970 edition, just published, is a fat 776 pages, and includes a mileage distance chart, metric conversion tables, international road signs and a detailed map of Paris as well as maps and town plans and lists of hotel accommodation for 18 countries.
