Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A new range of improved Synolac alkyd resins for the surfacecoatings industry has been developed by Cray Valley Products. There are four basic resins which will enable surface coatings to benefit from improvements in drying time, colour retention and improved durability.

The resins are reported to have been put through comprehensive trials under actual manufacturing and usage conditions. It is said that these proved that paint manufacturers will be able to formulate coatings with lower maintenance costs and improved speed of application.
