Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A 12-page fully illustrated brochure describing the design and method of operation of the Hope anti-jack-knife device has just been published by Self Energising Disc Brakes.

The Hope device continues to gain popularity with artic-vehicle operators and the vehicles of many well-known fleets using the equipment are illustrated. Published by: Self Energising Disc Brakes Ltd. 20 New Road. Datchet, Bucks. alloy, This not only provides a strong structure that protects all working parts but also allows the jacks to be operated in any direction in confined spaces. They can be used for forcing, clamping, levelling, straightening, bending and positioning as well as for accurately controlled lifting. The side and front faces of the body are parallel with the ram axis, giving a choice of location faces each providing accurate alignment square with the bottom reaction face.

The ram stroke of the jacking is controlled by a mechanical stop capable of withstanding the full-load capacity of the jack. The high-output pump incorporated gives a fast run-out and with a fine control of the release valve, provides accurate control of the ram position.
