Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

OFFERED with both longand shortwheelbase chassis, a normal-con.trol 6-4-ionner has been added to the Bedford range. It is similar to the 7-tonner, except that it has a single-speed rear axle. This unit is rated at 17,000 lb. and the vehicle's gross weight, under favourable conditions, is 22,000 lb.

The new model is intended to appeal to operators who are content with a gross vehicle weight lower than that of the 7-tonner---those, for example, who carry bulky goods. The long-wheelbase version has a body 16 ft. long.

With petrol engine, the short-wheelbase chassis costs £910 and the long-wheelbase £925. Respective prices for oilers are £1,035 and £1,050.
