Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AFEW weeks ago it became known (although the matter was not generally discussed, because it seemed desirable to await the decisions of board meetings yet to be held) that Mr. C. B. Wardman was resigning the positions of chairman and managing director of the Vulcan Motor and Engineering Co., Ltd. We now learn that a new board of directors has been constituted and that the new chairman will be Mr. William R. Challinor, M.B.E., the board being strengthened, so we understand, by the inclusion of men who have had experience in the departmental sides of the concern. A very important decision has been taken in that, in future, only commercial Motor vehicles will be manufactured by the company. The decision is wise, because it is virtually impossible to mix the two branches of motor manufacturing.
