Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

We are all familiar with the term on your bike", immortalised in the eighties by a certain Tory politician who also iked to apply the cricket test. (No prizes for guessing who.) With its mobile recruitment centre, BPS Taskforce is proving an employer willing to do the legwork itself. The 40ft mobile unit is seen here parked outside the Celtic Park Job Fair. By all accounts it proved a great success: in four hours two Taskforce recruiters spoke to 200 jobseekers and received 150 application forms for driving and warehouse jobs.

"Businesses and people seeking temporary and full-time work were queuing for information. At times they were four deep," says Airdrie branch's Kevin Whalen.

The £150,000 truck was con

verted to a recruitment office earlier this year. Previously the unit, which consists of an office and a lecture room, was used as a training vehicle, visiting up to 300 sites. These days it is available at short notice to visit the company's 19 branches or to act as a support vehicle or self-contained recruitment stand at exhibitions and job fairs.
