Police suspect animal rights protesters of planting the incendiary devices at Wincanton Transport's Wardle. Crewe depot and Freight Tanker's Macclesfield site this week. Although no one was hurt, the fires caused an estimated C2in damage. Security measures are being taken at the other 53 Milk Marque sites.

A spokeswoman for Milk Marque, which sub contracts out all of its transportation of milk, says vehicles were drafted in from other areas and all collections were made.
