Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Southampton-based international haulier Kingswood Transport has been put into administrative receivership and will be wound up unless a buyer comes forward in the next few days.

Thirty-three drivers were made redundant within hours of a receiver being appointed by Lloyds Bank at noon last Friday (26 May): some vehicles have already been repossessed.

Bob Thompson of receiver Rogers Evans says he is still hopeful a buyer will materialise for the £6m-turnover company.

"Although it's difficult to tell at this stage what went wrong, it appears the firm was working on quite slim margins," he says. "The firm has a good customer base and a loyal workforce and I am hopeful a buyer will come forward."

Creditors should contact receiver Rogers Evans at 19, Brunswick Place, Southampton S0152AQ.
