Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Drivers are being urged to give others a piece of their mind in a newly launched defensive driving campaign. The Partnership for Defensive Driving is aiming to improve truck driving standards and reduce accidents by asking drivers to send in tips on road safety.

The author of the winning tip will win an all expenses-paid day at the Brooklands track including a session on one of the skid control systems. Winners will also see their names and tips displayed on a new poster in October. Road safety minister Steven Norris welcomes the campaign. "It highlights the importance of safe driving practices in an amusing way and also gives professional drivers the chance to pass on their experience to others," he says. Drivers should submit their tips on free 'post a coaster' drinks mats that have been distributed nationwide with posters. Further literature can be obtained by calling 0171-283 2646. The campaign is being supported by the College of Driver Education and the Road Operators Safety Council.
