The makers claim that the direct front drive on to the rim prevents skidding, even when rounding a sharp turn at full speed. Current is supplied from a set of accumulators
carried beneath the body. Three brakes are fitted :—(i) Electric short circuit brakes, brought into action by the controlling levers, applied to the front wheels. (2) Band brakes on drums fitted to the rear wheels, actuated by a pedal. (3) Electric current reversing brake, only used for emergencies. The Lohncr-Porsche motor with its polypole armature is a wide departure from the usual construction
