NORTH YORKSHIRE police have issued a photo of a man wanted in connection with the theft of a £70.000 truckload of KitKats.

John Moorcroft from Kirby has been on the run since failing to answer bail after being arrested following the theft in Selby last June (CM 26 June 2003).

Two other men involved in the robbery have already been jailed. James Gibney, 21, from Kirby was sentenced for live years, while his accomplice Anthony Bradley, 21, also from Kirby. got four years.

Detective Sergeant Dave Pegg says: "It was a great result catching two of the offenders but we have been unable to find the third, Moorcroft, since he failed to report to the police. We are offering a cash reward for information leading to his arrest."
