Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A SPANISII TRUCK driver was tricked into handing over £90,000 worth of designer clothing by a gang posing as factory officials in North London.

The driver had parked outside the factory gates in Gorst Road, Park Royal last Sunday (27 June) where she was due to deliver a load of Teddy Smith products the following day. At around 8.10 am on Monday she was approached by a man who told her that there had been a flood at the warehouse and she would not be able to make the delivery. He asked her to load the goods into a blue and white truck parked around the corner.

As the driver was on her way back to Spain she received a phone call from the factory saying the goods had not been delivered.

Police are keen to trace four people who were involved in the deception.

The first is described as a white man, aged 40 and 5ft 7 inches tall; the second was white and wearing a blue jacket. The third man was wearing a high-vis jacket. The fourth offender was a white woman, 5ft 5in tall, wearing dark trousers and a white shirt.

DC Mark Galliers from TruckPol says: "Any driver who is redirected when making a delivery, even if they are waiting in a queue, should check with their transport manager that it is for a legitimate reason. Anyone with information about this theft should contact us."
