• Hendrickson Europe is offering a new drum brake aimed at low-weight high-volume use. The 335 x 150mm drum has improved cooling characteristics because of greater distances from the wheel.
Weighing 252kg, the brake is aimed at demountable and drawbar applications with single or twin 17.5 or 19.an wheel sets.
With an axle track of 1,850mm and 9.0-tonne rating, the brake has a compact hub face which Hendrickson says allows the widest possible spring seat to be fitted.
